This weekend is also the start to our PNW Summer Season! I have chatted with a few of you to find out how they were going to spend this glorious time:
Erin A. said she would be gardening and enjoying her yard & pup Zoey. She will also go to Heron Run and play 9 holes of golf with me too!
Jim W. will be working with his son to install a new dishwasher into his First Home he purchased last month. Jim will also be breaking out the paddleboard and do some time on the water!
Far G. said he will be painting and doing trim work on his property to get it ready to rent out
Julie O. says her husband is getting a new tattoo, cleaning around the house, and a possible day trip to Whidbey Island.
As for me – Well, I know I will be planting in my garden, BBQing scallops, playing a round of 9 holes with Erin, soaking up the sun (pretending I am in Mexico) and I might just need to check out the Folklife Festival in Seattle Center.
I have never been, and I feel like live music, fun food is in my future!

Real Estate Thoughts:
I have been thinking and dreaming plenty lately about being a Buyer in today’s market. Higher Interest rates = less buying power & better lower home prices.
So, what I am saying is:
Sellers want to sell.
There is only so much money floating around (compared to 2021/2022 Spring/Summer Market.)
Pricing for homes is pretty stable right now.
When/If the Interests rates drop:
More money will be available for buyers to negotiate with and afford more home.
Which means Sellers can ask/price their home higher.
We still are in a Seller’s market – due to the demand of how few homes are on the market.
If you are or thinking of being a First-Time home buyer (lumping everyone into a under $575K price point) I am finding plenty of interesting options.
I am excited about the possibilities that keep presenting themselves and excited to talk real estate with you and find the best solution for your needs.
Have a great weekend! Remember water & sunscreen are your friends!
With Much Gratitude,
Theresa
Northwest Folklife For those who aren’t hep to Folklife, it’s a huge open-air music/art festival at Seattle Center, and
there are buskers and actual concerts and impromptu jam seshes, plus tons of stalls selling
gorgeous food from around the world, along with ethnic arts and cultures being showcased. Oh,
and there are a bunch of cool workshops and lectures, too. It’s all real crunchy and wholesome.

The Benefits of Selling Now, According to Experts If you’re trying to decide if now’s the time to sell your house, here’s what you should know.
