Happy Friday!
Today’s rain feels, sounds, and smells heavenly! A much needed cleanse – I feel.
Tomorrow we will be back to our fabulous Sunshine & warm weather.

Most of you know how much I love living in my rental – I named The Pink Cottage. Well this is my 2nd summer and my Garden is the most glorious yet. I have a solar hippo fountain pond with a water lily now, and my bird bath has a little solar fountain. I have lots of Roses, Hydrangea’s, herbs, lettuces in pots, and flowering baskets.

This year I have acquired daily visits by a pair of Crows. Wow are these birds amazing. I believe they have been watching me for quite sometime. They are not afraid of me, they get rather close and love my water features. They talk, are inquisitive, and interesting to watch.

Yesterday, I was having coffee with a friend under my pink umbrella, and they were close at hand to see if they could get a taste of our scones. They were so polite and waited until I put some out on my side table for them. As we sat under my umbrella sipping our coffee, chatting away, the other birds flocked to my feeders, my plum tree, and around my flowers. I love the birds, love the movement in my garden, and the community of life the Pink Cottage brings to me daily.

I hope you find time in these next few weeks to sit outside and feel the life in your outdoor space.

It is amazing what you will hear, feel, and witness just sipping a nice beverage with a great friend.
